Restoran Melita nastao je prije vi\u0161e od 30 godina, kada je mladi Mirko Prlenda sa hrvatskog kopna do\u0161ao na Mljet i odlu\u010dio da se nastani u ovom rusti\u010dnom raju. Kao netko tko je od samog po\u010detka gorljivo podr\u017eavao lokalnu kulturu, Mirko je bio me\u0111u prvima koji su investirali u mljetsku narodnu muziku i druge inicijative u zajedinici, \u010dak i kad drugi nisu vjerovali u njihov uspjeh. Pokazalo se da nisu bili u pravu, te je ovaj otok danas osebujno prirodno i kulturno uto\u010di\u0161te od okolnog svijeta. Mirko i danas vodi Restoran Melita uz pomo\u0107 svoje obitelji.<\/p>\n
